Store Display Contest
NHL Hockey Weekend!
In addition to flyer ads, many retailers support Cash For Kids by building
attention grabbing display in-store featuring participating brands. To encourage
participation, retailers can enter photos of their displays in a contest for a chance to win a hockey weekend in an NHL city. In 2006, an astounding 500 stores entered the contest and 60 winners – one for each brand displayed – were awarded a trip to Pittsburgh, Penn.,
where they were feted to deluxe accommodations for two nights, a pub party, shopping,
gaming and "Sidney Crosby" against the Leafs.
To all the retailers that participated in the display contest, we thank you on behalf of the
Children across Ontario that the Cash For Kids program supports.
