Applying
for a GIFT Grant
Thank you for your interest in GIFT. The deadlines
for grants to be received for consideration at the
2007 Board of Directors meetings are:
March 30, 2007 and
August 31, 2007
The GIFT Board of Directors is unable to review incomplete
submissions, and cannot return or forward grant request
materials.
Letter Preparation and Submission
Your application must be submitted in English and should
include the following:
- Cover
Letter – On
organization letterhead and signed
by a management official as
well as the
project leader.
- Organization
History – A
brief description of your organization
and past program accomplishments.
- Project Information – Description
of the problem or need this project
will address as well
as your methodology
to solve it.
- Target Population – Please
summarize your target population
in measurable terms,
including
who the audience is, how many
will be served and age of
participants.
- Project Objectives – Describe
the benefits to be gained from
the success of
the project.
- Outcome
Measurement – Description
of project outcome measurement
and evaluation.
- Future
Funding – Describe
your plans for funding of
this project in the future.
If other
funding sources
are already in place, please
include this
information.
Attachments must include:
- Your latest set of
financial statements.
- Itemized project budget
(must total amount requested).

- Advertising or fundraising
drives
- Salaries
- Partisan, political
or denominational programs
- Intermediary funding
